Demographic counselling

The aim of this project is to promote active and healthy aging by counselling enterprises and employees. It aims to contribute to working conditions which improve age-based employment, to enable the adaptation of jobs and workplaces to life cycles, and to sustain health in terms of primary prevention. Therefore, the project provides sensitising activities, analysis, development of measures and support in their implementation as well as evaluation of outcomes.

After analysing the programme participant’s individual situation and respective problems, counsellors work closely with their clients to develop and implement supporting measures which address physical, social and psychological pressures. This programme aims to initiate a long-term, sustainable and healthy work life up to the participant’s retirement.


Coaching for enhanced coping with issues related to employment (AB-Coaching)

The aim of this programme is to promote and preserve the working ability of persons employed by businesses established in Upper Austria. Communication platform “Health promotes employment”

The online platform (www.gfb.or.at) offers information as well as regional and national networking activities for companies, stakeholders, and institutions on “health at work” topics. A special focus is put on the integration of people with health problems into the labour market.


Health promotion – Educational network and entrepreneurial health management

Through seminars for persons managing health projects in Upper Austria or intending to do so, participants gain theoretical know-how on health-related topics (i.e. psycho-social wellbeing, health-related gender equality, or the quality of life of the elderly) as well as professional, methodological and social skills for the planning and implementation stages. In addition, the project offers networking activities for participants.
