The programme aims at (1) sustaining the working capacity of employees to retirement age, (2) the sustainable (re-)integration of employed and unemployed persons with health issues, after long-term sick leave and/or with disabilities into the labour market to retirement age and (3) the development and/or utilisation of operational company structures and processes to manage especially re-integrated employees. These objectives are tackled by providing diversified counselling to individuals and businesses.

The aim of this project is to promote active and healthy aging by counselling enterprises and employees. It aims to contribute to working conditions which improve age-based employment, to enable the adaptation of jobs and workplaces to life cycles, and to sustain health in terms of primary prevention. Therefore, the project provides sensitising activities, analysis, development of measures and support in their implementation as well as evaluation of outcomes.


fit2work individual counselling - Lower Austria

After analysing the programme participant’s individual situation and respective problems, counsellors work closely with their clients to develop and implement supporting measures which address physical, social and psychological pressures. This programme aims to initiate a long-term, sustainable and healthy work life up to the participant’s retirement.
